Some model elements are not created from toolbox elements. These include connectors created via quicklinks and instances created from model elements. However, the only way to synchronize model elements with updates to the metamodel, including newly added tagged values, is to use the toolbox. Therefore, these elements have been placed on the (EA)<sup>2</sup> Items for Synchronization Only Toolbox. You should not use this toolbox to create the elements, only to synchronize them should you receive an update that requires it.
